All you need to establish a complete CCIE Voice Lab... you can avoid the server and go with a normal pc (packed with enough RAM, HD Space and good processing power)... you can as well go with the cheaper Generation 1 VWIC cards ... the lab has the NME-CUE module instead of the NM-CUE but again getting one would make you poorer by $1000 + ...... PVDM2-64 would be better than the 32 channels (especially for the PSTN Router)... you can do with the 3550 switches instead of the 3750's but the exam has the 3750's...
This document provides an overview of the network topology and IP addressing for a headquarters office and two branch sites. The headquarters uses CUCM, UCCX, CUPS, and Unity to provide call control, contact center, conferencing, and voicemail services. It connects to the PSTN and has three VLANs for voice, data, and a loopback interface. Each branch site connects via frame relay to the headquarters and has its own voice, data VLANs, and loopback interface.
This document provides instructions for configuring network infrastructure including VLANs, voice ports, and dial peers for a voice lab.
The key tasks covered are:
1. Creating VLANs on a switch for voice and data traffic between headquarters and a remote site.
2. Configuring voice ports on routers to support different voice protocols including MGCP, SIP, and H323. This includes configuring T1 and E1 ports to communicate with call managers and service providers.
3. Creating dial peers on routers to allow inbound and outbound PSTN calling for 911, local, long distance, and international calls.
The MARS MeetMe Password application adds authentication and password capabilities to Cisco CUCM Meet Me conferences. It allows conferences to be started remotely by dialing an IVR number and allows meeting hosts to configure individual meetings. Participants join by dialing the IVR number and entering the meeting ID and password provided by the administrator. The application supports CUCM 8.x through 11.x and many Cisco phone models. It requires a dedicated Cisco phone for the MeetMe service and an application server running Windows Server 2008/2012.
The Meetme Scheduler allows conference owners to securely schedule and authenticate participants for Meetme conferences on the Cisco Communication Manager. Conference owners can schedule conferences, notify participants, and authenticated participants via IP phone messages, email, or SMS. This provides a more secure way to hold Meetme conferences through authentication compared to the default conferencing feature.
The document describes various unified communication applications that can be used for productivity, communication, and alerts. Some of the applications mentioned include conference scheduling, phone sharing, display of external callers, phone splitter, phone state monitoring, interactive voice response, push to talk conferencing, broadcasting, voice relay, messaging, digital albums, meeting room booking, transport booking, visitor verification, and canteen menu. The applications allow organizations to improve efficiency, enable easier communication and collaboration, and provide greater integration and access to business applications.

IRJET - Three Layered Security for BankingIRJET Journal
This document describes a proposed three-layered security system for online banking authentication. The system uses username and password for the first layer of authentication. For the second layer, a QR code encrypted with the user's IMEI number is displayed, which must be scanned by their smartphone. For the third layer, an OTP is sent to the user's smartphone after successful QR code scan. This three-layered approach provides stronger security than username and password alone by distributing the authentication process across multiple devices and utilizing different authentication methods at each layer. The system is designed to be more secure against attacks like keylogging compared to a single-factor authentication system.

CAKE: Sharing Slices of Confidential Data on BlockchainClaudio Di Ciccio
Presented at the CAiSE 2024 Forum, Intelligent Information Systems, June 6th, Limassol, Cyprus.
Synopsis: Cooperative information systems typically involve various entities in a collaborative process within a distributed environment. Blockchain technology offers a mechanism for automating such processes, even when only partial trust exists among participants. The data stored on the blockchain is replicated across all nodes in the network, ensuring accessibility to all participants. While this aspect facilitates traceability, integrity, and persistence, it poses challenges for adopting public blockchains in enterprise settings due to confidentiality issues. In this paper, we present a software tool named Control Access via Key Encryption (CAKE), designed to ensure data confidentiality in scenarios involving public blockchains. After outlining its core components and functionalities, we showcase the application of CAKE in the context of a real-world cyber-security project within the logistics domain.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

You probably have questions on how this new licensing approach works and how to benefit from it. Most importantly, you likely have budget constraints and want to save money where possible. Don’t worry, we can help with all of this!
We’ll show you how to fix common misconfigurations that cause higher-than-expected user counts, and how to identify accounts which you can deactivate to save money. There are also frequent patterns that can cause unnecessary cost, like using a person document instead of a mail-in for shared mailboxes. We’ll provide examples and solutions for those as well. And naturally we’ll explain the new licensing model.
Join HCL Ambassador Marc Thomas in this webinar with a special guest appearance from Franz Walder. It will give you the tools and know-how to stay on top of what is going on with Domino licensing. You will be able lower your cost through an optimized configuration and keep it low going forward.
