2. Who am I?
• My name is Christine!
• I worked at Bond Dickinson LLP for 13 years in the Company &
Commercial/Public Services Department.
• I worked for 5 fee earners – 1 partner, 3 associates and 1 solicitor.
• I decided after being made redundant to set up my own business offering
law firms a document and transcription service.
• I have two school aged children and working from home will enable me to fit
in my work around the children, ie working when they are at school and also
in the evenings.

• Whilst employed at Bond Dickinson some of the projects I worked on were:-
– Newcastle upon Tyne NHS Foundation Trust – £300m PFI scheme to redevelopment of
the RVI and Freeman Hospitals
– Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust - £300m PFI scheme to redevelop the Pinderfields and
Pontefract Hospitals
– Newcastle City Council – PFI projects for Building Schools for the Future and their PFI
Library schemes
– Association of Council Secretaries and Solicitors (Lawyers in Local Government) –
drafting a new standard local authority constitution
– Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust & Tameside General NHS Foundation Trusts –
batched PFI scheme
– Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust - £200m PFI scheme to build and equip the new
Cancer Wing at St James’ Hospital
– Tyne & Wear Passenger Transport Executive – Procurement of an operator for the Tyne &
Wear Metro

6. How it works!
• You email any documents that need amending
• Scan and email any hand written amendments
• Email any audio
• For local firms (30 mile radius) I can come and pick up any work
• I will email back or use Dropbox/OneDrive for completed documents

7. How much do I charge?
• £15.00 per hour (day or night)
• 20% discount for first two pieces of work
• 10% discount for regular work
• I am a sole trader so will not be adding VAT.
• Any disbursements incurred, although this is unlikely
• 14 day terms

8. Other things to note
• I have a dedicated area at home where I will be working
• Computer is for work only and not for home use
• Confidentiality is a high priority of mine
• Conflicts of Interest
• I use Microsoft Office 2010 and Microsoft Office 365
