This document discusses how to help companies take better advantage of Agile software development techniques by creating streams of business value rather than end-to-end projects, structuring organizations for pace rather than complexity, modeling and experimenting rather than describing and documenting, empowering people with processes rather than constraining them, promoting cross-functional collaboration over singular accountability, and discovering and prioritizing customer needs over delivering internal visions. While recognizing these may not be entirely achievable in some industries, promoting the positive values from each can still enable more organizational agility.
