SUMMARY OF EXPERTISE
Fiscal and Budgetary Management
Led Marin City Community Development Corporation from an annual budget of $250,000 to $2.5 Million, and a staff
of 3 to 16.
Led the expansion of Marin City Community Development Corporation’s agency assets including the purchase of a
4 acre estate with two buildings totaling 8,000 square feet. Total assets reached over 5 million.
At Goodwill Industries, secured funding for program services from: the Haas Jr. Foundation for expansion of the
Trucking Academy; and the Private Industry Council for services to WIA dislocated workers, youth, and
customized training.
Over a twenty-five year period, developed budgets and goals related to the implementation of strategies and plans,
identifying funding and business opportunities, and identifying potential strategic partners.
Leadership and Management
Led community economic development efforts of Marin City Community Development Corporation in the areas
of workforce, business development, asset building, and affordable housing services.
Led Marin City Community Development Corporation’s recognized efforts as a Workforce Intermediary with
exemplary accomplishments and track record as a contractor with the Marin County’s Health and Human Services
and Workforce Investment Board.
Initiated at Goodwill Industries, an Industry Engagement Department and Sectoral workforce strategy in Retail,
Transportation and Logistics, aligned with Agency’s enterprise operations and core training capacity.
At Goodwill Industries, successfully partnered with City College of San Francisco to expand the agency’s Truck Driving
Academy, and initiated program services in support of SFWorks Bridge to Bio-Technology Program.
Led Rubicon Programs Inc. workforce services expansion into Alameda County; awarded WIA North Cities One Stop
(Eastbay Works).

Program Strategic Planning and Implementation
Initiated and implemented nationally recognized Green Energy Empowerment program through Marin City
Community Development Corporation (MCCDC) supporting energy efficiency and renewable energy services to
low income households while supporting viable business in the sector and creating jobs.
At MCCDC, Rubicon, and Chrysalis strategized, planned, directed, and coordinated the provision of program
participant training, placement and retention services, helping to formulate policies, design and implement
integrated systems, managing operations, and planning for the optimal use of material, financial and human
resources.
For twenty years, identified and promoted the merging strategies of government entities, non-profit organizations,
advocacy organizations, businesses, and funders.
For twenty-five years, developed and maintained collaborative relationships with community agencies, employers
