Volunteer Requirements
• 18 years old and a U.S citizen

• Most volunteers have an undergraduate

• Formal application followed by lengthy
  interview and medical clearance.
Process of becoming a Volunteer
• Cost Free

• Must sign up for two years and in return:

• Transportation, training, living allowance
  and medical care are all paid for.
• Location and area are chosen by host
  country based on volunteer’s skill set.

• May choose region, not exact location.

• In country training beforehand – housed
  with locals.
Perks
• For 27 months of service - $7,425

• Monthly living allowance

• Eligible for loan deferment; possibly
  cancellation.
• Two vacation days for every month



• Complete medical and dental care while
  serving
