• Studio Ufotable has adapted a number of Fate storylines on screen like
Fate:Zero, Fate Stay Night (FSN): Unlimited Blade Works, FSN: Heaven’s
Feel, a bunch of OVAs, and has even helped out with games.
• The source material may have sloppy writing or plot holes (except in
Fate:Zero), but one thing Studio Ufotable excels in is the animation quality,
especially during the fights.
• Because of this, a lot of people assume that Ufotable gets a load of money
for adapting Fate. This is not true, rather, the animators are very good at
using CGI and effects.
• So fans decided to make a joke on the Fate franchise-one still relevant
now. They basically made a slight alteration of the name of one of Fate’s
many series. (replacing one word of a certain series, to be specific)

8. 2.
• There was a time when X used to be iconic in this popular
shonen anime franchise. However, after it was replaced by
Y, which was seen pretty much throughout the series, while
X was forgotten for the most part.
• According to the mangaka Masashi Kishimoto, the X
eventually became an absolute pain in the butt. To solve
this problem, he ditched them altogether, forever changing
our perception of one of the most iconic shonen characters
of all time.
• What is X and what is Y?
11. 3.
• This Marvel character took Valeria, Franklin Richards,
and Caledonia as hostages to make the Fantastic Four go on
a quest to recover four mystic items for him.
• His introduction into the Universe was very controversial
because he was introduced just 11 days before 9/11 took
place.
• Needless to say, he was written out of the comics pretty
soon.
• His name is a word that is pretty controversial in general,
and is associated with an odd kind of romance.
15. 4.
• In an episode of Seinfeld, Elaine makes new group of friends
who are total opposites of the normal Seinfeld gang. Jerry

place.
• The _______ is an odd place in a certain comic universe that
shares its name with a rather strange version of one of the
most popular superheroes ever.

Weasley, Hermione Granger, Harry Potter and Albus
Dumbledore.
• Which characters do the other four wands in the logo
belong to (full names, please)?
21. 6.

• ‘Sloth’ is the lazy friend, ‘Wrath’ is the depressed

the conspirator, ‘Gluttony’ is represented by the pet,
‘Pride’ is represented by the Texan and the over
friendly protagonist represents ‘Lust’.
• What are these characters from?
24. 7.
• Crystal City is a town located in the state of Texas. It started off as a
hamlet, but after the introduction of a railroad in 1908, the town
could export locally made produce and thus prospered. After the
Great Depression, it acquired the title of being ‘The X Capital of the
World’, as it produced more than 10,000 units of this.
• The town receives tourists primarily in the month of November due
to an annual X Festival, where cook-offs and eating contests are
held. Consequently, in 1937, this place erected a statue of Y, making
Y the first of its kind to earn this distinction.
• Identify X and Y.
27. 8.
• The structure took its name from the a building in front of it
which was a monument to King George IV that stood in the
area and was demolished in 1845. During the World Wars,
it took over a lot of military duties in addition to the usual
civilian crowd.
• Although nationalised in 1948, it was privatised again in
1996 after a government order. An expensive restoration
programme was initiated recently, which led to the

them?
32.
33. • Mahoutokoro is the wizarding school of Japan in the
Potterverse.
• The people who wield Cherry wands are considered to

for their lethal power. Those who own them were held
in a place of high honour.
34. 10.
• In the 3rd episode of the animated series Primal, the main characters
Spear and Fang fight and kill an elderly mammoth who has been
separated from his herd. Then Spear skins the mammoth, taking its fur,
meat and tusk.
• Later in the episode, Spear and Fang battle the herd of mammoths
mentioned above, before Spear realizes that they only want the deceased
mammoth’s tusk.
• After taking back the tusk from Spear, the mammoths do something with
it, which is an obvious reference to a famous urban legend.
• This urban legend has been shown in popular media many times, but it’s
most famous depiction is in a certain iconic movie.
• What do the mammoths do, what is the urban legend, and which movie is
being talked about?
37. • The Mammoth herd take their friend’s tusk to what appears to be a
graveyard for mammoths. They send him off by gathering around
the tusk and caressing it in their friend’s remembrance. (Just saying
that they took it back to a Mammoth Graveyard will do)

where elderly elephants supposedly go to die in peace and solitude.
• The movie being talked about is the Lion King.
38. 11.

peak, while standing atop a sand dune in the middle of the desert.
As they approach the mountain, they see visions of a mysterious
figure, and encounter the ruins of an extinct civilisation.
• The main theme of the game is obviously based on a rather famous
quote by Ralph Emerson.
• X is historical because it was the first of its kind to get nominated
for a certain award in a certain awards show.
• Unfortunately, X lost this award to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
• Give me X, and which specific award it was nominated for.
45. 13.
• Duke Humfrey's Library is part of the Bodleian Library at
the University of Oxford. Until 2015, it functioned primarily as a
reading room for maps, music, and pre-1641 rare books. The Library
was refitted and restored from 1598 and the east wing (now the
Arts End) was added.
• Due to the historical significance of the books present, the library
has stringent rules regarding any item that might pose a danger.
Only one exception has been made so far in the history, in 2001.
• What did the Arts section of the library serve as? What item was
allowed?
48. 14.
• This event happens in Dinant, Belgium every year. All the
participants in this event must make a creative craft
consisting of at least one X.
• The craft can hardly be called an X as it is often hidden by
more elaborate things that-either for aesthetical use or to
help in floatation. These are usually shaped like an animal
or a house.
• A similar event is seen on a popular cartoon series Y, at a
much smaller scale.

women, one man and a child - holding hands in a circle,
flanked by four large golden statues of phoenixes. In the
adjoining pillar, hundreds of other names are written.
• Who are these people?
54. 16.
• According to this particular fan theory, the Pokemon X is actually an
orphaned, malnourished Y which decided to take it’s dead mother’s
skull as remembrance and a bone from her body to protect itself.
• Others have tried to debunk this theory saying that the evolution
line doesn’t make any sense.
• However, supporters of this theory argue that evolution in
Pokemon is an odd concept-it is governed by growth, nature, the
environment, evolution stones, happiness, stats and even held
items.
• This theory is supported by the fact that X and Y tend to appear
along the same routes in many Pokemon games.

wrong because he’s a _ _ _ _ _ _.
• In a crossover episode with the show Y titled “The Y Effect”, a certain
Indian kid reveals that X is in direct opposition to the Y effect, which
‘makes everything work out’, which is what drives the basic plot of
each episode of Y.
• Both the shows are known for the songs that appear throughout
their runs.
• The Indian kid further reveals that the Y Effect can be used to direct
X wherever they want to, effectively ‘weaponizing’ it, as a certain
bully suggests.
• Give X and Y.
64. 19. Unlikely Villain
• X from the movie Y may be the most hated man on the internet.
• There’s even an entire Subreddit dedicated to hating him. It has
over 128k people who want to kill or at least injure him.
• He’s been compared to Hitler, Satan, Harvey Weinstein and Josef
Mengele.
• He looks like a deranged version of Albert Einstein.
• He is hated more than the ordinary movie villain because he’s
actually supposed to be a role model.

promote incompetent employees to higher positions (usually
management), because they want the useful employees to do the
actual work. X shares its name with a certain work.
• Y is one of the characters in X. He is as cynical is the main character
and shares a lot of character traits with him as well. But he lacks
morality, and as a result, gets most of the work done. He is a genius,
a psychopath, a master manipulator.
• Z is a vegan Mexican food product that is named as a pun on the
work X, because the creator wanted to create a healthy food
product that also had mass appeal.
• Give X, Y and Z.
69.
70.
71. 21.
• Although originally interpreted to mean that time is of the
essence and the listeners should make haste in pursuit of
the goal, a different logical interpretation is that it was
meant to signal that they should take the help of the
eagles, which would make the journey much simpler and
less riskier.
• Proof of this alternate interpretation is even shown in the
mode of return used by the undertakers of the task.
• What is this an alternate, more literal interpretation of?
74. 22.
• Shinei Animation, a wholly owned subsidiary of TV Asahi, has joined
hands with Reliance MediaWorks to remake popular Japanese
animes meant for kids, including ‘Ninja Hattori-kun’ among others,
focusing primarily on the Indian market.
• While nostalgic teenagers have criticised this move, being of the
opinion that these remakes by non-Japanese companies will ruin
their speciality, the producers have cited the reluctance of Japanese
industries to reboot these shows as the reason for them taking the
initiative.
• Why are the Japanese industries reluctant?
77. 23.
• The immediate reaction to this assertion (made for the first
time in October 2007) was twofold. On one hand, it was
applauded as being a statement of unity and one of pride, but
on the other hand, it was called an ‘outlandish attention
grabbing theory’ because of there being little or no proof of it
in canon.
• In response to questions from the latter category that they
‘just couldn’t see it’, the immediate reply was that the
unnoticeable nature was intentional, as ‘that is how it actually
is in real life’.
• What assertion was this?
80. 24.
• Although the average person would attribute the difference
between X and Y to merely a grammatical change, the fandom
believes there are multiple layers to it.
• A slight variation of X was famously used during the Battle of
Verdun in World War I by a French General. It appears on
propaganda posters and was appropriately used in uniform badges
by units manning the Maginot Line. This has led to people believing
this variation inspired the author, a war veteran himself, to create Y.
• Although Y is the one that was used by him, X became more famous
due to the stronger emphasis.
• Identify X and Y.
81.
82. • X: You shall not pass!
• Y: You cannot pass!
