This document compares the design differences between three soccer magazines: ESPN uses a risky green font and only one main cover line, which is not very appealing. FourFourTwo uses the Spanish flag in the background since the footballer on the cover is from Spain, and features a well-known footballer to indicate it is a sports magazine. World Soccer uses a lot of yellow font, which is an attention-getter being the easiest color to see, and shows the main cover athlete running to draw the viewer's focus directly to the large central photo and interview teaser about Thierry Henry.
