The empty cartons are recycled by Nigel and Maringa of Anchor, who drop off new milk each term. Maringa sometimes has the students practice math by counting milk boxes. Livingstone established missions in Africa and discovered Lake Ngami, seeking routes for trade to replace the slave trade. He crossed Africa from west to east, discovering Victoria Falls in 1855. Livingstone sought to map Africa's rivers and open the continent to commerce and Christianity.
