This document discusses the different types of relationships people have over the course of their lives. It notes that some relationships are for a season or reason and are meant to teach us lessons as we grow, but the most important relationships can last a lifetime if we love deeply and apply what we've learned to maintain good friendships. The final message is that friendship provides clarity to relationships where love might cause blindness.
Locomotives are powerful machines that move trains along railroad tracks. They use steam, diesel, or electric power to pull heavy loads over long distances. Modern locomotives are highly engineered vehicles that efficiently transport goods and people on rail networks around the world.
This document discusses the locomotion of various unicellular organisms. It describes how hydra moves through somersaulting, bending, walking upside down, climbing and gliding. Amoeba uses pseudopodia made of cytoplasm to move towards food particles. Paramecium uses cilia on its surface to move in a rhythmic motion. Euglena uses flagella to whip itself through water. Bacteria can use flagella, spiral shapes, or water/wind flows to move.
This document summarizes congenital heart disease, noting that ventricular septal defects (VSDs) are the most common type. Causes are often multifactorial and developmental. Clinical features include left-to-right or right-to-left shunts, or obstruction. Common defects causing left-to-right shunts are VSDs, atrial septal defects (ASDs), and patent ductus arteriosus. Tetralogy of Fallot is the most common cyanotic congenital heart disease and involves pulmonary stenosis, ventricular hypertrophy, a VSD, and an overriding aorta. Transposition of the great arteries is also discussed.

A boy asks his mother why she cries. She says it is because she is a woman. When he grows up, he asks God the same question. God answers that women were given strength to bear many burdens like caring for family despite hardship, but also sensitivity and the ability to cry as an outlet for their emotions. God says a woman's beauty lies not in appearance but in her eyes, as the window to her caring heart.

Rethinking Kållered │ From Big Box to a Reuse Hub: A Transformation Journey ...SirmaDuztepeliler
"Rethinking Kållered │ From Big Box to a Reuse Hub: A Transformation Journey Toward Sustainability"
The booklet of my master’s thesis at the Department of Architecture and Civil Engineering at Chalmers University of Technology. (Gothenburg, Sweden)
This thesis explores the transformation of the vacated (2023) IKEA store in Kållered, Sweden, into a "Reuse Hub" addressing various user types. The project aims to create a model for circular and sustainable economic practices that promote resource efficiency, waste reduction, and a shift in societal overconsumption patterns.
Reuse, though crucial in the circular economy, is one of the least studied areas. Most materials with reuse potential, especially in the construction sector, are recycled (downcycled), causing a greater loss of resources and energy. My project addresses barriers to reuse, such as difficult access to materials, storage, and logistics issues.
Aims:
• Enhancing Access to Reclaimed Materials: Creating a hub for reclaimed construction materials for both institutional and individual needs.
• Promoting Circular Economy: Showcasing the potential and variety of reusable materials and how they can drive a circular economy.
• Fostering Community Engagement: Developing spaces for social interaction around reuse-focused stores and workshops.
• Raising Awareness: Transforming a former consumerist symbol into a center for circular practices.
Highlights:
• The project emphasizes cross-sector collaboration with producers and wholesalers to repurpose surplus materials before they enter the recycling phase.
• This project can serve as a prototype for reusing many idle commercial buildings in different scales and sizes.
• The findings indicate that transforming large vacant properties can support sustainable practices and present an economically attractive business model with high social returns at the same time.
• It highlights the potential of how sustainable practices in the construction sector can drive societal change.
