This document outlines the steps for a lymphnode biopsy procedure. – Diagnostic –
• Lymphoma – grade
• TB – MDR c/s , histology
• Axillary , cervical, inguinal

2. • Steps :
– LA infiltration
– Incision – skin to deep fascia along Langer’s line
– Discrete or matted lymph node
– Dissection
– Clamp the lymphatics , vessels
– Excise

4. • Complications :
– Bleeding
– Neurovascular injury
– Seroma
– Hematoma
– Infection
