2. INTRODUCTION
The format of Luke cage is a series and the platform is Netflix. Right now
there is only one season out this is because it’s a new series which was
just released, it has 13 episodes. The Target audience is 15 and over
because it has sexual scenes and swearing. Luke cage is about a man who
becomes indestructible from an experiment gone wrong and he has to
fight a villain because he kill his dad like figure.
3. CODES & CONVECTIONS
In Luke Cage they used lots of different lighting and camera angles they used
low- light when something bad is about to happen. They used flash backs,
jump cuts, visual effects, CGI and SFX.. They also used different camera angles
too like close up, extreme close up, over head shot and Ariel shot. The reason
why they use many codes & convections is so its more realistic.
4. Luke cage is the good guy in this he
is shown as a hero however in the
series he says he doesn’t want to be
a hero. He is presented a humble
hero and this creates sympathy for
him because a lot of the police force
think he is bad.
Cotton mouth is the villain in this
he is presented as evil, he killed
Luke Cages dad.
He is cocky and arrogant.
This is one of the main places in Luke
Cage because it is Luke cages dad’s
barber shop and he dies in it.
5. NARRATIVE STRUCTURE
The plot of this story is When a sabotaged experiment gives him super
strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive attempting to
rebuild his life in Harlem, and must soon confront his past and fight a battle
for the heart of his city. Harlem is a made up place.
