Movie Review Assignment
My assignment is to write a film review of Wreck-It Ralph. This movie is a 2012
American computer-animated fantasy-comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation
Studios and released by Walt Disney Animated Classics series. It occurs mostly inside the
worlds of several arcade-style video games that has many rules for the characters to
constantly reinvent themselves in their game.
Synopsis: Various video game characters will free to travel to other games through the
power cables when Litwak’s Arcade closes at night. This movie talk about clumsy Wreck-
It Ralph live in his video games for thirty years that keep on destroying a residential
building while Fix-It Felix use his powerful hammer to rebuild what Ralph destroyed. All
the citizen in the games love heroes, so Ralph did not invited to the celebration of the
thirty years anniversary of the game. Ralph decides to win a medal to become hero. He
collect his medal in the game called Hero’s Duty but brings one enemy named Cy-Bug
accidentally. Ralph crashes his plane in the kart-racing game called Sugar Rush. ...

The story is about a "bad guy" who deserts his classic arcade game to prove that he's
not so bad after all. Game characters can die, but it's only permanent if it happens outside
their home game. I really like this movie because it bring a fresh idea about in the worlds
of arcade-style video games. Moreover, it also bring out a true love and friendship. This
movie contains moral values. Next, I like the pixel video games. Wreck-It Ralph is one of
the pixel video games. Pixel pictures is awesome!
The one of the reason why I love this movie because all the characters is cute and

2. cool. For example, Ralph looks like big clumsy guy , but he is a friendly person. The
costumes is really fit his characteristics such as clumsy and big guy. He is the bad guy in
the arcade game. He feel suffer because it is hard to love his job. He insisted that to make
the citizen in the game realize he is a hero. I love the characteristic of this big bad guy.
Besides, Sergeant Calhoun also my favorite character. She is a cool character in this
movie. She is a tall and beautiful woman that always wearing her heavy armor. I like her
movie quotes such as ‘ It’s make your mamas proud time! ’ before she lead her team ti
fight the Cy-Bug in her home game. She is brave because she plans to kill the Cy-Bug in
the Sugar Rush alone. Next, the cute characters is inside the video game called Sugar
Rush such as Vanellope Von Schweetz. It’s interesting movie that contain many kinds of
characters.
This movie brings out educational value, positive messages and role models. This is
why I like this movie. Many lessons that this movie talk about friendship and loyalty,
about love and responsibility, and about helping each others. This movie makes me feel a
greater preciousness in friendship. For example, when Ralph break the plane in the game
called Sugar Rush after he get his medal from Hero’s Duty, he meet Vanellope Von
Schweetz. He help Vanellope making the new racing car and want to win the contest.
Ralph also advise Vanellope when she is trying to give up. For example, Ralph helps her
to build the race way of racing car for her to practice. At last, Vanellope appreciates
Ralph. Vanellope treat Ralph as her hero. I like the scene when Ralph is helping
Vanellope to make the car. The process is funny and full of joy. Next, Ralph also a
positive role model in this movie. For instance, he is angry because all the citizens do not
like him as a big bad guy and next he plans a journey about becoming a hero. He did not
let his official character overshadow his own qualities. Nothing is so common as the wish
to be remarkable.
The best and beautiful scene is in this movie! I love the scene of Wreck-It Ralph. For
example, the scene of the Hero’s Duty and Sugar Rush. Next, the original soundtracks of
Wreck-It Ralph are awesome and amazing. For example, the most popular soundtrack is
‘Celebration’ by Kool and The Gang and ‘When Can I See You Again’ by Owl City.
Background music of this movie such as ‘Bug Hunt’ by Skrillex also amazing. It’s
inspiring! ‘Wreck-It, Wreck-It Ralph’ by Buckner and Garcia is the main original
soundtrack that describe the main character Ralph.
In conclusion, I like the movie quotes of Ralph such as ‘I am bad and that is good, I
will never be good and that’s not bad. There is no one I would be than me.’ and with the
scene when Ralph be with Vanellope, ‘the little kid like me, how bad can I be.’. When the
arcade closes, the fun begins and get ready for a new kind of hero.
