This article proposes a postmodern model called the KEY (Knowledge Empowered Youth) model for reforming low-performing schools. The KEY model incorporates components of postmodern theory and the six realms of meaning. It advocates for a plurality of perspectives, collapsing boundaries between subjects, and pursuing differences rather than conformity. The model focuses on discovering knowledge through experience, expressing meaning through language and symbols, creating beauty through cultural appreciation, making ethical decisions, and having an interconnected outlook. It aims to transform low-performing schools into learning communities that prepare students holistically and empower them for their future careers and lives.
The Region 6 National Associate for Multicultural Education honors Dr. William Allan Kritsonis as a Professor, Scholar, and Pioneer Publisher for Distinguished Service to Multicultural Research Publishing. The ceremony was held on the campus of Texas A&M University, College Station on April 28th 2012.

It notes that Wikipedia is often used as a source of definitions for concepts mentioned on webpages and that DBpedia has become a key source of shared identifiers for things on the Semantic Web. It concludes that with work done by various teams, the BBC content is now well connected as part of the larger Web of Linked Data.
This document describes an online engagement platform that transforms passive information consumption into lively virtual events. It allows organizations to create customized digital venues for webinars, conferences, product launches, training events, and internal communications. The cloud-based platform offers modular components like a conference center, exhibit hall, networking lounge, and analytics tools. It integrates with existing webinar technologies and allows attendees to interact before, during and after events through chat, messaging, and connections with company representatives. The platform aims to increase attendee engagement for organizations of all sizes and across different use cases.
The document summarizes observations from visiting various retail stores. Some key findings include:
1) Discount stores like Marshall's had dirty floors and broken fixtures while specialty stores were clean and well-maintained.
2) Most customers at clothing stores shopped with someone else for opinions.
3) Some surprises were that Semolina Bread sold deli food, not bread, and Francesca's salespeople ignored customers.
4) Small details like open doors, lighting, and cleanliness impacted the shopping experience more than the merchandise.
