Our Vision: Landscapes for People, Food and Nature This document discusses the vision of landscapes that provide for people, food, and nature. It discusses how landscapes contain biological diversity at multiple levels from intra-specific genetic diversity within species to inter-specific diversity between species and ecosystem diversity. Coordinated policy support across sectors and community involvement are needed. Agricultural land use and greenhouse gas emissions are issues. Landscape principles focus on balancing global and local needs.
