The ketogenic diet, commonly known as the keto diet, is a low-carbohydrate, high-fat eating plan that aims to shift the body's metabolism into a state called ketosis. In this state, the body primarily relies on fat for energy instead of carbohydrates. The diet typically involves drastically reducing carbohydrate intake and replacing it with healthy fats and a moderate amount of protein.
The keto diet promotes fat-burning, weight loss, and improved mental focus by limiting carbs and emphasizing healthy fats and proteins. It can also help manage blood sugar levels and increase energy levels.

Low Glycemic Certification Lab Team have published delicious recipes presentation to follow low glycemic diet which is more difficult to anyone. Low glycemic food prevents from heart disease and helps to control blood sugar levels. It also reduces the risk of certain chronic diseases (diabetes, obesity and heart disease).
The keto diet, short for the ketogenic diet, is a low-carbohydrate, high-fat diet that has gained popularity for its potential health benefits and weight loss effects. The main principle of the keto diet is to drastically reduce carbohydrate intake and replace it with fats, forcing the body to enter a state of ketosis.
In a standard Western diet, carbohydrates are the primary source of energy for the body. When carbohydrate intake is significantly restricted, the body begins to break down stored fats into molecules called ketones, which serve as an alternative fuel source. This metabolic state, known as ketosis, can lead to several benefits.
One of the main advantages of the keto diet is its potential for weight loss. By limiting carbohydrates, the body is encouraged to burn stored fat for energy, resulting in a reduction in body weight and body fat percentage. Additionally, the high-fat content of the diet promotes feelings of satiety, helping to control hunger and reduce overall calorie intake.
The keto diet has also been associated with improved blood sugar control and insulin sensitivity, making it beneficial for individuals with diabetes or prediabetes. It may also help lower triglyceride levels and increase levels of HDL (good) cholesterol.
However, it's important to note that the keto diet may not be suitable for everyone. It requires careful planning to ensure an adequate intake of essential nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, and fiber. Moreover, individuals with certain medical conditions or those taking certain medications should consult with a healthcare professional before starting the keto diet.
As with any diet, maintaining a balanced and varied approach is key to long-term success. It's advisable to incorporate nutrient-dense foods, such as leafy greens, non-starchy vegetables, healthy fats, and lean proteins, while limiting processed foods, sugary treats, and refined carbohydrates.
