1. Love Is Not Anxious I fell in love with her the moment I saw her for the first time. It was a sea of emotions that I cannot even begin to describe. All I know is that I just knew she was the one for me. She had the eyes and smile of an angel and the most amazing body that reminded me of strip dancers. I was twenty eight and worked as an engineer. I had a lot of friends and went out regularly but did not have any committed relationship by then. The more I knew her, the clearer it became why we met at all. She was much the woman I had been waiting for. But then I learned that she was already seeing someone. So I decided not to chase her any further, reluctantly though. As time went by all I could think of was her. The frustration of seeing her around and not expressing that I felt so deeply for her kept getting higher. So one day I decided to express my love to her. I met her at a café and poured out my feelings. Not with any expectation from her to reciprocate my love, but just as an end to our friendship as this was keeping me stuck on her and not letting me open up to anyone else.

3. It was a relief and I moved on since then. I was thankful that I met her and did not want to stir up her life. I knew that if we were meant to be together, I’d have her. I never saw her again for until a year. There was a family gathering at my best friend’s house and he was also calling in his friends too. I knew she would be there and was confused about whether to go or not. I knew I wanted to see her. We sat down together to chat and she told me that she had ended things with her boyfriend some months ago.

4. We kept in touch for sometime after which we began dating. We are now married for six years and have two beautiful children.
