This document describes a loop power indicator device that measures 4-20mA DC input signals with 0.1% linearity and accuracy. It has a 0.56" 4-digit LED display, auto-senses polarity, allows decimal point selection, provides 5.5V forward voltage drop at 20mA, and includes adjustable zero and span calibration. The device is microcontroller-based and amplifies input signals while also powering attached sensors or transmitters.
