Masha is a creator and producer who launched an art and food project called What The Food in Moscow, Russia. She has an idea to hold "pay what you want" Shabbat dinners in Tel Aviv using free vegetables from local markets before Shabbat. She would collect the vegetables on Friday evening, cook different dishes from them throughout Shabbat, and serve the free dinner outdoors near a restaurant or the sea. People could eat for free or pay what they want, with any funds collected being donated. She is looking for a kitchen space and assistance to hold the dinner one Shabbat next month.

2. Every morning we bought a random set of ingredients,
took an attractive picture and uploaded it to our blog
asking our followers: “guess, what we will cook
today”?
People ordered their What The Food dinner, not
knowing what it would be – a pie, a ragout,
a pizza, a risotto or anything else.
My name is Masha, I am a creator and producer
in different art and media projects.
One of my pet projects is called What The Food,

5. So I have an idea, which I would like to share with you!
Few weeks ago I’ve visited Tel Aviv.
I love it so much – everything – people,
culture, the air.
I found out about one tradition here: all markets
give away products for free before Shabbat.
And mostly all the products
are of a good quality.

6. I won't let good vegetables to decay!
I'd like to cook free shabbat dinners using these free vegetables from the markets.
this dinners should be also free, but if someone wants to pay,
he can pay as much as he want. It can be so called
"pay what you want" meals.
If we collect enough money, we can donate it.

7. I would need some place to cook – a kitchen with equipment.
It could be done any shabbat next month (1 day), also we can cook together.
To do this I would need

We will install dinner table
on the street (near your
restaurant or near the sea)
with all food and stand that
will explain our idea. People
can come and eat. For free.
We will install box
for money.
If someone wants
to pay he can pay
as much as he can.
