Blessings of God
Only God knows all that we want in life, and
therefore when the time is right we will be
blessed. I understand that many believe that
you can buy your blessings somewhere, but
you can’t. The only thing you need to do is
connect with the living Lord in order to be
blessed. Nothing comes easy, so persevere
and remember that the Lord is always
watching you from the distance. He will
reward you when you reached maturity in
the word of God. Wisdom is the sign of
righteousness which all of us strive to
achieve. When your faith is being tested,
don’t despair, make sure you pray more in
order to show how loving our Lord is. Don’t
underestimate His power. Call upon Him not
only when you have challenging times, but
always call His name, and at the end you
would not doubt His presence. Hence your
mind set will be expecting quick miracles.
Patience is the best tool which everyone
must adhere to. Patience moulds your voice,
attitude and gives you inner strength to
have the ability to lead without fear. Many
tried to be patient for a shorter period of
time, and that is why they did not see the
fruits of it. Start today. When you pray
make sure you don’t forget yourself, but
mostly forget your past and focus on your
future endeavours. Then when you receive
His blessing, be humble and treat other
people with dignity and love. If your pride
is higher than your humbleness, you won’t
be able to receive the blessing that God
has given and you will not have a
connection with God. Every moment you
think about the Lord, all your burdens will
be weakened, and you will believe that the
Lord, Jesus Christ is our saviour and refuge.

Most of us have a concept of heaven. That it
is a place we’ll go to when we die (or not).
We don’t give it too much thought and hope
that at the end we are in good enough shape
to be accepted into paradise. I don’t believe
that we have to do anything, or be anywhere,
to experience the bliss of heaven. There’s
no getting to heaven... because we’re already
in heaven. Our trick is to get to the realization
where we have to get to is appreciation.
Appreciation, awe and gratitude. That’s the
route to open up heaven. Look straight into
the eyes of your loved ones. Look up and
behold the magnificent stars. Touch the
petals of a gentle flower. Run your hands
through the coat of your beloved dog. Listen
to your infant breathe. Feel the life-giving
water trickle down your throat. Listen to the
giggling of children playing with free
abandonment. Feel the accomplishment of a
job well done. Are we not already in heaven?
The poet, John Milton has touched on one
aspect of heaven... the mind, “The mind is its
own place, and in itself can make a Heaven
of Hell, a Hell of Heaven.” Our minds
plays tricks on us and what we experience
is an imagined reality. The actual reality is
that we are in heaven. What Milton talks
about is having a positive attitude. Find
the good in every situation and turn it into
‘heaven’. Because if we are in heaven, why
would heaven try and harm us. It’s
impossible. Not for one moment am I
saying that some of the experiences we go
through are not horrendous. They are.
Every experience, good or bad, reminds us
that we’re alive. The trick is what we do
with every experience so that we can feel
the heaven we’re in. The handbook has
already been written for all to navigate this
physical life. We only have to read the text
that we’re living in. The text is clear for all
to see and that’s the key to opening up
heaven right now. It starts with three words
... appreciation, awe, gratitude ...
