MCLEAN, UNTIL IT GOT STACKED, AND I AM CURRENTLY ON THE GSF MONARCH,
WHICH IS WORKING IN THE SOUTHERN NORTH SEA.I HAVE ALSO STOOD IN AS BARGE

Lifting Supervisor / LOLER Competent Person / Deck Foreman
Transocean May 2008 – Present (GSF Magellan, Semi Sub J W McLean and at
present the GSF Monarch)
Plan and create all lift plans with appropriate risk assessments. Supervise /
support all personnel / rig departments involved in lifting operations. Control /
order all lifting equipment, act as LOLER competent person / focal point
onboard the installation. In charge of all Lifting Operations Rigwide, controlling all
vessel movements, organising Decks and Crane Crews, making sure all work is
carried out safely, following Policy, Procedure and complying with LOLER and
Company regulations.
Also Training, Mentoring and accessing Crane Operators, Training and
accessing Deck/ Drill and Maintenance crews in Banksman & Slinging and
Rigging & Lifting duties.
Crane Operator / Deck Supervisor
Transocean June 1994 – May 2008(GSF Magellan)
Operate the instillations cranes (SeaKing) off loading / back loading supply
vessels and all deck lifts. Maintenance and general Daily upkeep of all Cranes
onboard, Liaising with immediate supervisors and client representatives to plan
all deck operations. Duties include helicopter landing officer and fire team leader.
Supervision of Deck Crews, consisting of, Conducting Tool Box talks, Safety
Meetings, organisation of daily work routines
I was also a member or the Emergency Response Team, taking an active role in
the Companies Safety program, and also the on tour HLO, and in my Offshore
Career l have never had a lost time incident, this also reflects my Track Record,
with no Lost Time Incidents incurred by any crew members under my supervision
