Locations Potential hazards/risks
1. Location – Rosebery Road
2. Location – st stephens Church
This will be the setting for the majority of the
opening and closing shots in our trailer. We have
chosen this road as it located at the heart of Langley
Vale and have easy access to our other locations
such as Epsom Downs and St. Stephens’s church.
The road is public which means traffic
passes through regularly so we will
have to take this into consideration
when filming. The only dangerous
hazard is oncoming vehicles, to
overcome this we will need to be extra
cautious when filming.
The road is public which means there
are no permissions needed to film in
this area.
An example of a shot type will be a
tracking shot of Mike driving down
the street on his moped whilst Kane
is walking past.
The church is placed in the center of Roseberry road
and will hold a short clip near the end of our trailer.
We may not be able to film inside the church
however filming outside the church will need no
permission.
There is a risk that we are told to divert
from filming in the area. However filming
outside shouldn’t be a problem. If we do
get told to leave the area then a
permissions note will be needed to grant
us signed access.
An example of a shot type used here
will be a MCU of the family dressed in
black outside the church.

4. Location - Rubin house pub
As wewill be filming outside the pub, the area
that we have chosen to film will have no need for
permission. Howeverit will help the situation of
filming if we notified the pub that we will be
filming outside with around a 10 meter radius.
Therewill beoneshot filmedherewhichwill
be the closingshot. Thecamerawill be

the trailer.
The sorrounding area aroundthe rubin house is
public land and we will need to take into
consideration the time we film here as it may be
busy which will ruin the shots.
There are potential hazards such as Horses that
sometimes race alongside the pub. We will need
to take extra care when filming so we do not
disturb the horses which could potentially harm
ourselves.
3. Location – the Epsom Downs
The Epsom Downs covers a very large area so
there is no exact specific location. The main
action scene in the opening of our trailer will
be set on the downs as it ties into the idea of a
vulnerable girl going missing on such a large
landscape.
An example shot from our trailer would be
when Paige is running from her kidnapper
as well as the establishing shot.
The Epsom Downs is a public area, which is
mainly used for dog walkers and horse
riders. Because it is a public area there is no
need for our group to get permission. There
are some hazards that our group should be
aware of, one being the fact that horse
riders use the Epsom downs daily as a place
to train.
