The purpose of localization is to make the user
feel at Home.You are not just translating the
already existing product/article into your locale
but you are giving an local feel to the user so
he/she feels comfortable using it.This may
include using words that are inheritant to the
particular locale, slangs in their locale etc. So
this is about localization.

4. There are many ways or platforms that could be used to start localizing
products/articles.
Some of the widely used ways being :
 1)Github :You could pull a component or article from the github repository and
then localize it and then commit it back.
2)Verbatim :Verbatim makes localization very simple as it has the mozilla's locale
repository and is a very user friendly platform that helps the localizer do his work
string wise. All you need is a pootle account to get started onVerbatim.
3)Transifex:Transifex is also another similar platform likeVerbatim that makes
localization simple.Transifex is also a very user-friendly platform that helps you
localize string wise and then save your translations. All you have to do is now wait
for a locale reviewer to review your translation and once it is reviewed, if the
reviewer is happy with your work, your translation is accepted. So it is as simple
as that.
