Local Multiplier Effect Poster
This document discusses how spending money locally has a multiplier effect that benefits the local economy. It shows that $1,200 spent at local businesses stays in the community longer as that money circulates and is spent again locally, compared to the same amount spent at non-local big box stores where much of the money immediately leaves the community. It also notes that spending locally can support over 1,494 extra miles of driving within the community compared to spending outside it.
