Editor's Notes

  1. I’ve chosen this name as I don’t want to give anything away in the title but like to let the audience know it’s got a bit of mystery in it.
  2. So what’s the idea? Emma passed away earlier this year and is back to forgive so she can move on from this horrid event, she will talk to you as an unseen character. To forgive the person who has done this she has to find out who actually did it. If she manages to forgive she gets the chance to change events – although she can’t bring herself back to life, she can change how it happened – which would mean that she can choose to make the guilty innocent. After following Mia around Emma see’s that Mia is under a lot of stress and upset at home and begins to understand a little why she picks on other people. The fact that she is no longer doesn’t come clear until the end and will come to a surprise to the listeners. This will make the rest of the story become a lot clearer.
  3. Writers – As I’m going to write the script myself I haven’t budgeted any money for that so it will save money to use on extra hours in the studio and other needed areas.Actors – After research I found that I can book a voice actor for £20 an hour and if I need 4 that =‘s to about £80’s an hour so x’s that by the 3 hours in the studio it comes to £240Studio Staff Hiring Studio - 2002 studios cost £45 P/H and I recon It would take about 3 hours to record and re-record therefor I just worked out how much it would total. Equipment costs – After looking around the best hiring for my money cost £400 per day and as the 3 hours won’t all be in one day I’ve budgeted to hire it for 3 days therefore it will cost Props – I’d like some money left over so I don’t want to spend the rest of the money on the props but I’ll still need to invest some money for them and I recon I could buy all the props needed for about £20 as a lot I could do or get for free. After all the budgeting I’m left with £71.66 which could go on anything that I’ve missed or under judged.
  4. My drama is based on young people and students therefore will probably attract the same age range. The main characters are also girls so may not attract male listeners as much as it will attract female listeners.Because of the mentioned reasons my target audience is teenage girls as I feel it will appeal most to them although I won’t only focus on them.I would like my radio drama to play on Radio four as this radio station is well known for it’s radio drama’s but I’d also like to realise it in audiobooks as I feel a lot of younger ages don’t listen to radio four and many prefer to listen to CD’s or MP4’s than radio itself.I’s like my drama to play about 9 on a Wednesday as I feel the time would most suit young people as it’s not too late with school or college in the morning but not to early that they’re doing something out of the house or car.
