MEMS: Fabrication & Materials | Electroceramics | Computation Methods of Material Science
Hubei University of Technology – Wuhan, Hubei, China June 2014
Bachelor of Science in Material Forming and Control Engineering
2013 Merit Scholarship from School of Engineering for #3 rank in class
Career Objective
Seeking Material Science & Engineering or related jobs
Professional Research
Boston University, College of Engineering September 2015-January 2016
Research Assistant: Growth, Simulation & Design based on Monolayer Molybdenum Disulfide (MoS2)
Professor: Scott Bunch, Boston University
 Optimize growth of monolayer MoS2 by selecting proper vapor deposition methods and adjusting
components of input gases (produced findings that oxygen may contribute to its growth)
 Comparing the different growth methods of PVD and CVD, adjusting the gases transporting pipes and found
the leakage of the device
 Found the significant influence of oxygen of the input gases. When the ratio of input gases and oxygen is
60:0.006, the growth of molybdenum disufide monolayer has the best performance, whereas oxygen is
rejected by general researches having similar topics
 Use e-beam to etch the substrate of wafers, put the sample of MoS2 monolayer on processed wafer to the
chamber having different air pressure with outside and deform the monolayer structure
 Simulate pressure distribution and design pressure sensor to test uncertain coefficients of monolayer MoS2
using COMSOL Multiphysics. Taking advantage of the Wheat Stone Bridge structure to design the pressure
sensor and detect the piezoresist coefficients which is still uncertain to current researchers of the
Molybdenum Disulfide Monolayer
Academic Research
Boston University, College of Engineering November 2014-December 2014
Independent Academic Project: Optimization of a Sensor Transporting Microtunnel
 Designed microtunnel to transport a diverse range of sensors, optimizing design by thoughtfully adjusting
part sizes and selecting proper transporting liquid
 Simulated flow patterns and distribution of sensors within microtunnels to ensure feasibility
Hubei University of Technology December 2012-February 2013
Independent Academic Project: Design of a Novel Reduction Gearbox
 Designed geometrical shape of transmission shaft and structure of 35+ conjunction parts
 Evaluated advantages of different alloy materials and selected final ones for use in the axis
 Sketched freehand three sectional views to facilitate visualization and demonstrate true shape of gearbox
Volunteer Work
Huazhong University of Science & Technology (HUST) November 2013-January 2014
Laboratory Assistant: Research of high strength steel sheet(manganese boron steel (22MnB5))
 Research and discuss the experiments of high strength steel sheet
 Hot stamping the high strength steel sheet and detect the changes of the tissue of processed metal
 Hardness tests of different parts of the high strength steel sheet in Hardness Rockwell C(HRC)
Huazhong University of Science & Technology (HUST) & Ohio University June 2011- July 2011
Translator and local coordinator: Wuhan Iron and Steel(Group) Corp.`s North America Selling System
 Translate Chinese documents into English version and vice versa. Translate the Chinese into English and vice
versa in conversations
 Visit steel factories of WISCO and collect the information related to the topic
 Make SWOT analysis and presented the results to the administers of WISCO
