Breast cancer is the most common malignancy distressing females in the world. The bone metastases are one of the most common site of disease dissemination. Up to 75% of stage IV Breast cancer patients developing skeletal metastases [1] metastatic bone disease can result in skeletal related events (SREs), including humoral hypercalcaemia of malignancy (HHM), pathological fractures, spinal cord compression, and pain [2]. The median time from bone metastases diagnosis to first SRE can be as short as 1.8 months, with the incidence of SREs growing considerably during the first 12 months following diagnosis [3]. This Bone metastases affect patient survival, movement, and quality of life by negative impact. The molecular mechanisms involved in the metastasis, colonization, and proliferation of breast cancer cells in bone are multifaceted and include crosstalk between breast cancer cells and the bone microenvironment. The capability of metastatic breast cancer cells to capture normal biological processes involved in bone remodeling is a key driver of osteolytic and osteoblastic bone lesions. As such, our understanding of how breast cancer cells manipulate normal bone remodeling pathways is essential for the development of new therapeutic agents to improve patient outcomes.

Potential of Targeting Bone Metastases with Immunotherapies
Bone metastases are common in many cancers and result in low survival rates. Immunotherapies have shown promise in treating some patients with bone metastases. Case reports have shown individual patients experiencing decreased bone lesion growth or complete remission of bone metastases using immunotherapies targeting PD-1, PD-L1, or CTLA-4. However, immunotherapies may also cause harmful skeletal effects like fractures or spinal cord compression. Further research is still needed to determine if immunotherapies are effective against bone metastases in large patient groups and to understand their potential skeletal side effects.

This document discusses the importance of proper water consumption for tissue regeneration and overall health. It argues that drinking pure water on an empty stomach allows for efficient nutrient delivery and waste removal at the cellular level, promoting optimal tissue regeneration. In contrast, drinking artificial or polluted water, or water at the wrong times, can interfere with digestion and nutrient absorption, limiting cell regeneration and potentially leading to health issues over time like cancer, neurological diseases, and vision loss. Maintaining proper hydration through regular pure water intake is presented as essential for cellular homeostasis and regeneration in the tissues of the body.

1) Metastatic colorectal cancer treatment involves stratifying patients and using predictive markers to determine the optimal treatment sequence of chemotherapy and targeted therapies like anti-VEGF and anti-EGFR agents.
2) Right-sided and left-sided colon cancers have different molecular profiles and responses to treatment, with right-sided cancers having a worse prognosis.
3) Microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) colon cancers, which are more common on the right side, may respond well to immune checkpoint inhibitors like anti-PD-1 therapy due to high tumor mutational burden.

men worldwide. Immunotherapy is a new method for the treatment of several cancers
that fights cancer cells by strengthening the immune system through some medications.
While immunotherapy is a useful method for cancer treatment; its’ side effects still are
not totally clarified. Numbers of prostate cancer patients which take immunotherapy are
experiencing prostate inflammation and prostatitis after treatment period.
Enterococcus faecalis is Gram-positive and catalase-negative cocci that are common
in the intestines of humans and other animals and cause most enterococcal infections such as intestinal
infections, prostatitis, gastroenteritis and endocarditic. Present study aimed to evaluate the mRNA level of virulence genes which are involved in Enterococcus faecalis pathogenesis in prostate cancer patients that treated by immunotherapy. Expression level of gelatinase E (gelE) and Enterococcal surface protein (
esp genes were examined by Real time PCR in three groups of 68 male subjects. Group A normal subjects, group B prostate cancer patients before start treatment and group C prostate cancer patients after six months immunotherapy period.
This document provides a list of resources on breast cancer including websites, books, and guidelines for treatment. Websites listed include the American Cancer Society website which contains various patient information. Books cover topics such as hematology, oncology, chemotherapy, cancer genetics, risk factors, diagnosis, and cell biology. Treatment guidelines are referenced from sources like ESMO, NCCN, and ASCO for management of HER2-positive breast cancer, screening, and disease with brain metastases.
Cord Blood Mesenchymal Stem Cells Conditioned Media Suppress Epithelial Ovari...ijtsrd
MSC CM suppresses epithelial ovarian cancer cells in vitro in a concentration-dependent manner. When ovarian cancer cells were treated with MSC CM at concentrations of 100%, 75%, 50%, and 25% for 72 hours, cell morphology changes were observed including cell shrinkage, debris and reduced cell numbers compared to control. MTT assays showed reduced proliferation and Annexin V testing demonstrated increased early and late apoptosis. Cell cycle analysis found an increased sub-G1 phase, indicating apoptosis. Expression of embryonic stemness genes was also progressively suppressed in cancer cells treated with MSC CM compared to control. Therefore, MSC CM has potential as an ovarian cancer inhibitor by creating new treatment modalities.

This study examined the association between genetic polymorphisms in glutathione S-transferase M1 (GSTM1) and T1 (GSTT1) and N-acetyltransferase 2 (NAT2) genes and the risk of developing asbestos-related pulmonary disorders in Finnish construction workers with high asbestos exposure. The risk of developing malignant mesothelioma or nonmalignant pulmonary disorders was not significantly associated with GSTM1 or GSTT1 genotypes. However, individuals with the NAT2 slow acetylator genotype had over a two-fold increased risk of developing asbestos-related pulmonary disorders compared to those with the fast acetylator genotype. Those with both the GSTM1 null genotype and NAT2 slow acetyl
1) Anti-angiogenic therapy targets tumor angiogenesis and has become an established treatment for metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC).
2) Bevacizumab, a monoclonal antibody targeting VEGF, has shown efficacy in multiple phase III trials in combination with chemotherapy as first-line and maintenance therapy for mCRC.
3) Additional anti-angiogenic agents approved for mCRC include aflibercept, ramucirumab, and regorafinib, which have demonstrated benefits in later lines of therapy.

EDITED BOOKS & CHAPTERS IN BOOKS
1. El-Mawla NG, Ibrahim EM, El-Serafy M. The use of systemic chemotherapy in the management
of advanced breast cancer. In: Breast Cancer: A Comprehensive Approach (1st Edition), Eds.
Omer S, Contesso G, 161-l69, 1984. The book was published by the Cairo Medical Syndicate
Scientific Committee and supported by the Egyptian Ministry of Health and the Egyptian
Academy of Scientific Research and Technology. The book was written by several experts in
breast cancer disease: pathologists, surgeons, medical oncologists, radiotherapists, and
epidemiologists from Saudi Arabia, Egypt, France (Gustave-Roussy Institute), USA (The American
Cancer Society). It addresses various aspects of breast cancer.
2. Ibrahim EM, El-Serafy M. Chemotherapy in the management of metastatic breast cancer. In:
Breast Cancer (2nd Edition), Eds. Omer S, Contesso G, 126-131, 1987. The book was published
by Korba, London. The book was written with contribution from authors from Egypt, France,
USA and Saudi Arabia to provide an updated experience of all controversial issues in the
diagnosis and management of breast cancer.
3. Ibrahim EM. The editor of book titled "Comprehensive Approach to Clinical Examination". It
contained 15 chapters in 535 pages. The book is designed in a way that should make
understanding, learning and studying easier. In preparing it, many standard textbooks and
monographs have been reviewed. The book contained many illustrations of key examination
techniques, graphs, and easily understood tables of important facts; its style was intended to
capture the reader's interest and imagination. Though several chapters were written by
different contributors, a unified format is maintained throughout. I believe that this book was
able to satisfy the need for a clear guide to clinical medicine, and it has certainly competed
favorably with similar books in this respect, nevertheless, it was never predestined to serve as
an extensive textbook in theoretical medicine. Although a chapter was devoted to common
symptoms, the cardinal symptoms of organ systems were reinforced under the appropriate
chapters. Some of the commoner and more important diseases have been covered in a
simplified way. Moreover, a chapter that introduces the readers to the basis of radiological
investigations; and another dedicated to illustrate the basic principles of electrocardiography,
were included. The two chapters are added to ensure a quick basic understanding of these
important investigations. A third chapter was also added to promote the philosophy of medical
informatics. Neither, pediatric nor gynecological examination were discussed.
4. Ibrahim EM. The editor of a new book “Comprehensive Approach to Case Studies in Medicine”.
The book addressed a novel approach to problem-oriented clinical medicine. It contained 40
chapters with contributions from several faculty staff at King Faisal University and consultants at
King Faisal Specialist Hospital. The book came in 239 pages.
