Nearly 27 million people in Uganda, about 67% of the population, are at risk of poverty. Sending $10 currently costs $19.99 due to high fees, but a $1.70 fee is possible which could save someone living on $1.25 a day the cost of living for eight days. The objective is to service the $10 remittance demand from the UK, UAE and EU to Uganda by partnering with a UK-based and FCA licensed payment partner.
