Linked semantic model for information resource service towards cloud manufacturing

1) Information resource services are key for resource sharing in cloud manufacturing but traditional models suffer from semantic heterogeneity in open cloud environments. 2) Recently, ontologies have been applied to resource service models to eliminate semantic heterogeneity though effectiveness depends on ontology expertise. 3) This paper presents a semantic model for information resource services that uses semantic links instead of ontologies to enable automated integration and distributed updating in cloud resource services.
