Lincoln Square is a neighborhood located on Chicago's north side. It has a population of around 44,000 people and was historically a German town. Many landmarks still have German architectural influences, including the Louis Sullivan Building. The neighborhood aims to preserve its "Old World flavor" through community events like the German-American Fest. branches of German
American National Congress
are located. Lincoln Square
plaza was built to evoke “Old
World flavor” with European-
styled shops.
