Lights was founded in 2012 by Kenes Andari and Gita Sudjirman to provide publicity services for the entertainment industry in Indonesia. They first met in 2011 while working on a film project together and decided to start their own company. Lights aims to guide clients through the entertainment industry using creative strategies and customized services. Their services include media relations, press conferences, and social media management. Two major early clients were 3 Nafas Likas, a film they conducted a publicity campaign for, and the Jakarta Blues Festival, which they helped publicize.

3. How it All Began
Lights is Kenes Andari and Gita Sudjirman, who joined forces together unexpectedly
with similar interest and fascination over the entertainment industry.
We first met in a film production project, Catatan Harian Si Boy, in 2011 and hit it off,
continued on to other projects that challenged both our skills and experiences in the
industry; working as a team of newbie publicist.
September 9, 2012 became officially became the mark of a new beginning for us. With
mutual vision and work ethics, we established a company that serves as a vessel of our
unlimited ideas to freshen the entertainment business through publicity services.

Lights services cover from media lobbying to
media relations to media handling to crafting ideas
for gimmicks to increase news value for our clients.
We prepare all communication document materials
from key message custom-made and distinct for
each project as part of our PR value.

7. 3 Nafas Likas tells a true story about an extraordinary life of a woman named Likas,
who, with one hardship after another, willingly put her dreams on hold and
struggled to become a good mother and wife, to finally thrived with her life.
Lights was assigned to be the publicist for this Indonesian grandeur of a movie. We
took the challenge and handled all publicity matters for the movie, generating the
activities on ATL-focus experience; media visits and interviews. Also supervising
social media activities.

8. Dramasinema
MSP Entertainment appointed us to deal with PR and publicity for their
series of successful Cinema Drama event, that combined theatrical
performances with traditional arts, film and live orchestra; Arjuna Wiwaha,
Gatotkaca Jadi Raja, Gatotkaca Kembar and Hanoman.

9. Jakarta Blues Festival 2012
Lights was entrusted to handle the biggest blues music event in Indonesia.
We handled media relations, keeping the publicity awareness via press
conferences and media interviews session with key local and international
performers. It was exhilarating and truly was an experience for us to be part
of the event.

10. Kenes Andari
Kenes Andari is well known to public as an actress, model,
television presenter and an MC. Nowadays she adds her resume
as a publicist, grabbing a potential opportunity in the film and
entertainment industry with the establishment of Lights
Publicist with her partner, Gita Sudjirman.
With Lights, she turns her experience and love for the film and
entertainment industry into ideas and personality combined, as
an endeavor to creating great strategy and delivering great
results, with proper ways for client’s purposes.
Her hobbies include traveling, chasing music concerts all over
the world, and enjoying movies.
Gita Sudjirman
Gita Sudjirman started out her involvement in the film industry
in 2008 when she switched gear and worked in a Production
House company. Soon after, she fell in love with the industry
and decided to work as a film crew, focusing on film production,
marketing and promotion.
In 2012, an opportunity arose when Kenes Andari asked her to
join forces and establish Lights. With her background in
journalism and brand strategy, she dreams for making publicity
be taken seriously and appreciatively in Indonesia, especially in
the film and entertainment industry.
Gita loves traveling, going to concerts, watching movies and
daydreaming.
