2. HIGH KEY LIGHTING
High key lighting reduces the lighting ratio in the scene, it’s
used to show a positive mood. It is unlikely to have dark
shadows present

3. LOW KEY LIGHTING
Low key lighting creates a dramatic effect with an overall
dark tone to the subject, it also includes high amounts of
dark shadows.

4. FILL LIGHTING
Fi lighting is used to reduce contrast, it creates the look of
what the eye sees. Depending on the set up it can include
dark shadows.

5. MY THOUGHTS
For my main image I will use a low key lighting to add a
dramatic affect. The dark shadow lighting will link to the
thoughts of rock music being dark and scary. It’ll also make
the band look moody so they can connect with certain
readers. I will also use this for my double page spread image.
For my contents page I will use the fill lighting to draw
attention to the page and to compliment the amount of
writing.
