The floor was a

hard surface and it
would have
absorbed any
sound .
We recorded this in the lift and it was a small area where sound was likely to bounce of
many areas, so when Sam was speaking it echoed a lot and it also was interfered with by
background noise which was the lifts electronic voice indicating the floor we was on. As the
lift is metal the sound is reflected around making echoed speech. However his speech was
still clear and is easily understood. Because this is such a small space and it also had a ceiling
it would create and bouncing effect all around the area.
