LIFT Inc. is a non-profit organization that aims to help formerly incarcerated men reintegrate into society through church, work, and family. Its mission is to reduce recidivism and strengthen communities. Services include job training, life skills classes, mentoring, housing, family counseling, and spiritual guidance. LIFT had a 24-month pilot program where none of 26 participants re-offended. It seeks to purchase a larger facility to house more men and help them find stability. The business plan outlines staffing needs, facility renovations, and an initial $220,700 budget.
Many churches, ministries and Christian businesses are stuck and don’t know why or where to go next. Culture Bender helps Kingdom leaders understand why and what needs to be done. Then, these churches, ministries and Christian businesses can grow again in relevance, revenue and impact.
Hi, this is Marc Stein and I am the Founder of Culture Bender. During my tenure as a leader in Christian service, I noticed a severe shortage of quality, accomplishments-based Kingdom practitioners and executives who were available and could bring the experience and know-how necessary to really help leaders succeed.
For that reason, I have assembled an amazing flex team of highly accomplished, like-minded Kingdom professionals to help you achieve the relevance, revenues or impact that you are seeking. In other words, we match you and your specific situation to the perfect Culture Bender — saving you time and money. I, also, personally review and select every individual assigned to each Culture Bender project. Only the finest practitioners and executives are selected to serve.

• Using the Bible as a guide for one’s life
• The importance of church and church involvement
• Being reminded that the church is about people and not a building
• Always remembering “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”
12. LIFT Programs
Employment
LIFT supports clients in preparing for job interviews, application process, locating
employers, and transportation needs.
Entrepreneurship
We believe entrepreneurship is the key to the American dream. Many ex-offenders have
operated business from an illegal prospective. LIFT will provide them with necessary
tools, education, training, and mentoring needed to operate a successful, legal business.
Anger Management
Clients work to learn how to identify and communicate the root cause of problems and focus
on how to solve them. Emphasis on how to cope with controlling ones temper, non-use of
profanity, and other anger manifestations always begins with LOVE. Clients learn to take
responsibility for their actions by being able to admit when they are wrong and always seek
RECONCILIATION.
Mentoring
This is a 3 month commitment where the mentor and client develop a relationship that
supports the success of the client’s plans and life’s journey.
Financial Management
Clients work on achieving financial goals, development of a saving plan, learn to invest for
the future, and work to understand the value of home ownership.
