Takeaways
• Everybody needs information. Blockchain can be a platform to connect actors
around agroecology through efficient, transparent, and safe information sharing.
• Information needs to be actionable. Co-creation an effective way to create
contextualized systems, able to provide solutions for the different actors.
• Identify key participation incentives for each actor and designing a system that
responds accordingly is crucial.
• More than a tool, an approach. Co-creating traceability systems can be replicated in
various agricultural value chains. Blockchain is a platform that can grow to connect
more actors and create information ecosystems.
• Strong call for implementing ethical and Responsible Data Management.
RDM management involves protecting personal data, disclosing the use of data with
all actors, data sovereignty, and reciprocal information exchange.
