Letter of Recommendation_Dr. Cameron Pace
1. July 30, 2014
To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter in support of Justin Canavan who is a person of high character and
hard work. I have known Justin for three years, and believe he is a person who would be
well-fitted to a career in broadcasting and video. Justin came to Evangel University as a
transfer from the James River Leadership Academy and continued his program in
broadcasting and communication these last three years. During this time, he has been a
student in my broadcasting classes and also participated in our campus television
broadcasts as writer, reporter, and producer. He shows competency in photography and
video editing as well.
As a student, Justin performed well on nearly all assignments. He is prompt in getting his
work done and shows good writing skills. Justin is a very creative person who does well
in managing others and organizing tasks. He has a strong background in broadcasting as
well as video and film production. He has been very active in student media at Evangel,
including being a news producer, fill-in anchor, reporter, editor, and camera operator. He
is a versatile person who is capable of adapting to new situations.
Justin is also a person of integrity and honesty. He is dependable and trustworthy. Justin
is a hard-working individual who shoulders great responsibility well. I have no doubt
that he will be an asset to any organization or business who employs him. I have
depended on Justin many times for completing important work and found that he always
did his best at achieving the goals. He also was helpful by volunteering for additional
work when others would or could not. It is because of this and more that I highly
recommend him to you.
Sincerely,
Cameron A. Pace, Ph.D.
