To Whom It May Concern:
Brandon Stone has worked at the BYU- Idaho Testing Center from November 14, 2014 until the
present time. The first two semesters he worked as a proctor and since the beginning of the fall
semester he has worked as an office assistant.
In his position as a proctor he was dependable and knowledgeable in the exercise of the
assignments given. The assignments included: proctoring tests, accurate filing of test materials,
and the use of a comprehensive computer software program for administering and scoring tests.
The most important emphasis of the job is customer service. Brandon has done, and is doing an
excellent job as a customer service worker. He is proficient in teaching university standards
found in the dress and grooming code. He is also experienced in dealing with people and their
problems. Occasionally he helps resolve conflicts along with the shift coordinator. He remains
calm in stressful situations such as midterms and finals week.
Brandon is professional in attitude and appearance. He consistently adheres to all FERPA
regulations and laws.
Brandon began working as an assistant in July. In this position he assists in giving performance
tests to individuals who are seeking employment. This is to determine whether they could
accurately perform what would be required of them if they were hired. He assists in interviewing
candidates and helps train new employees. He updates student employee records and does other
secretarial work. He is good about paying attention to detail and is responsible for monitoring
and maintaining supply usage for the Testing Center.
