Reference: Ethan M. Vickers
It is with my sincere delight to recommend to you a very fine young man who is most deserving of
recognition and consideration. I have had the pleasure of working with Ethan Vickers this school year.
Ethan is an outstanding student and remarkable young man; one of the best I’ve had the opportunity to work
along-side with in my 30 years of teaching.
Ethan is one of the top students in my Advanced & Practicum Architectural Design courses. Mid-way
through the second semester of the 2 year 4 semester course, Ethan has excelled in the areas of architectural
design, drafting, sketching, and in the CADD (Computer Aided Drafting & Design) systems; specifically in
the applications of the Autodesk Revit Architecture 2016, and in 3-Dimensional model making.
Ethan has managed to maintain a 3.7 GPA throughout in his architectural and academics core classes’
all-the-while participating in several extra-curricular activities and community service projects. He is a vital
member of his high school varsity swim team, a valued ambassador for our school: the Center for Career &
Technology Education, a National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society member, and an Eagle
Boy Scout Candidate. Ethan’s success is attributed to his excellent work ethic. He is attentive, hardworking,
self-motivated, and passionate about learning. His natural leadership, dedication, and strong work ethic show
forth in all that he does whether it is in individual work, class, team, school, or community functions. He is also
an active member in his church’s youth group. Community service projects have included various fundraising
activities to fund Boy Scout activities, coordinated volunteers for the YWCA Race Against Racism,
Ethan conducts himself like a true professional with integrity; collaborating with me, his coach, and his
fellow classmates/teammates/scouts to earnestly learn more and advance to the next level. He is cooperative,
courteous, respectful, and works well with others.
Ethan Vickers has my highest recommendation for acceptance into the El Paso Electric Summer HS
Internship Program. This experience will aid Ethan in overcoming his shyness and empower him with
confidence and skill-sets necessary to succeed in college and the work force. It has been an honor to work
and see this young man grow and achieve his goals. I truly believe in this young man and I hope you will
give him due consideration. He will be a tremendous asset to the program. If I can be of further assistance,
please feel free to call.
Sincerely,
Cecilia A. Orozco
