My name is Jessica, we currently live in Texas due to the Army. My husband and I met in the military in 2012 and then welcomed our one and only child. Our son Erik who just turned 4 this past week. I got out of the Army in 2017 and my husband is still in. We call North Carolina home due to my parents and siblings all live there now. We look forward to retiring their once he is done with the Army. I have. BA in Education with a focus on B-K Teaching. I wanted to teach Kindergarten and began as a TA in the public schools before I joined the Army. I realized that my passion wasn't there for teaching children as much as I want to teach adults. I began my Masters in 2017 for Early Childhood and Higher Education. I want to teach at the college level. I plan to continue for a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. I think that every day you learn something new and enjoy learning as much as I can to become a subject matter expert in my career field. In the Army, I was Human Resources and it was a great job and I enjoyed it Iut i do not want to sit behind a desk all day and push papers. Id rather be part of the learning experience and that I want to inspire and teach those pursuing education in the 21st century.
My best college course is probably all of them thus far. This is my last class for my Master's and it has been a great experience. I love the communication with my Professors and the constant contact between my peers. I think that with each class the requirements have been beyond reasonable. My undergrad was a bit different and stressful and now I feel more confident and able to complete my classes and hopes to get into the college system at a community level and begin my career.

DANIEL'S ESSAY
Countless destructive implications were presumed upon me after high school because of my decision to attend a community college rather than a university. Eventually however, those assumptions began affection me, leaving me to question myself and my potential. It wasn't until I took Dr. Smith's Political Science class that my confidence was rebuilt. Dr. Smith showed us videos on current governmental event, talked in depth about the criminal justice system, and introduced us to the world of politics. Dr. Smith noticed my enthusiasm in these subjects and persuaded me to attend several town hall meetings where mayors, candidates, and assembly members spoke. After one particular meeting, Dr. Smith informed me of internship opportunities available to students. I sent an application and was hired as an intern. While interning, I was responsible for assisting the constituents of my district though skewered processes such as health care and unemployment as well and amicably communicating with angry constituents. Dr. Smith was the only professor who stayed in touch with me throughout this experience. My passion for communications merged with my developing passion in political and governmental services to form my dream job of one day becoming a criminal attorney. With a clear goal, I have become more motivated to do well in school and work hard to maintain my academic standing.

DANIEL'S ESSAY
Countless destructive implications were presumed upon me after high school because of my decision to attend a community college rather than a university. Eventually however, those assumptions began affection me, leaving me to question myself and my potential. It wasn't until I took Dr. Smith's Political Science class that my confidence was rebuilt. Dr. Smith showed us videos on current governmental event, talked in depth about the criminal justice system, and introduced us to the world of politics. Dr. Smith noticed my enthusiasm in these subjects and persuaded me to attend several town hall meetings where mayors, candidates, and assembly members spoke. After one particular meeting, Dr. Smith informed me of internship opportunities available to students. I sent an application and was hired as an intern. While interning, I was responsible for assisting the constituents of my district though skewered processes such as health care and unemployment as well and amicably communicating with angry constituents. Dr. Smith was the only professor who stayed in touch with me throughout this experience. My passion for communications merged with my developing passion in political and governmental services to form my dream job of one day becoming a criminal attorney. - 1. Letter Of Introduction 2015 Baroness Thompson Hello my name is Baroness Thompson, I’m a mother of three children, 13, 15 and 17. I am the youngest of 4 and I was born in Los Angles, California. Education is very important in our Family. My mother Graduated from Cal State Hayward, my brother has obtained two Masters Degrees from Pepperdine and Mari time Academy, Finally my sister has a B.A from Saint Mary’s located in Moraga, California. I have also worked on the Yes on Q Bond Measure for Solano Community College. This measure allows students in grades 9th through 12th to attend our local college free of charge. I also utilized the measure to bring awareness in regards to the importance of education within my household. I enrolled my, 9th and 11th grade sons in two college classes. I believe Education is the key to perseverance. As a behavioral assistant I worked in various setting for 7 years, I concurrently worked as a sub- Para Professional for Solano County office of education. I am also enrolled in Argosy University online, to obtain my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy. In closing, I am very Knowledgeable and determined to help our society with an empathetic understanding of each individual’s predicament. My extensive experience will allow productivity in managing the logistics of the various programs including lab set up and shut down. Managing and presenting neat and detailed records and program binders. Contacting parents to communicate student performance and establish working relationships within our community and schools.
