 Maybe the introduction of the new
methods aren’t as bad the as how the
old-schoolers are considering it.

 Based on the amount of information which
can be taken advantage of by marketers,
trustable leads who have a greater chance
of buying than ever before can be passed
along to the sales team.
 This is because the effort taken for
generating Leads has changed a lot as the
goal is not to just fill the top of the funnel
but to create quality Leads.
 Concepts like Lead Nurturing which is the
process of building a continual relationship
with the prospects by listening &
responding to their needs across each
stage of buyer journey are being more in
the use which were not in the vocabulary
of Traditional mode of Marketing.
 Using techniques like these marketers are
able to work them down to the sales
funnel until they have become sales
qualified leads.
 Social Media is changing
our lifestyle & it’s also
influencing businesses
around the world.
Different social media
platforms have given
access to a powerful
database of prospects
with all the information
needed to qualify them
as a lead.

 Technology has advanced so much that
techniques like marketing automation &
CRM tools are now common in the
management of data to view how
prospects are interacting with the process.
 Marketers can determine how & when to
reach out and ‘nurture’ leads through the
help of data that can be attained using the
feature of CRM & Marketing Automation.
Better Results with Better Combination
 Good marketing manager
should focus on maintaining a
good mix of both outbound &
inbound strategies to generate
leads.
 The direct approach of
outbound campaigns has the
capability of pushing potential
leads through the funnel.
 Companies should also focus that the sales & marketing
teams of their organizations are working in an aligned
manner, so that there won’t be much confusion in regards
with the leads generated.
 It’s an ongoing acquisition on the marketing team that the leads
provided are just made for filling the top of the funnel. This can be
limited by close alignment of marketing team along with sales.
Even though a lot has changed since the introduction of trade, the primary
goal of business has always remained same which is making profit.
The idea of branding, goodwill etc. all boils down to how it can
benefit the organizations.
 Lead generation has been a
process used by marketers of
organizations for generating
more clients.
 Even though time & methods
have changed the idea still
remains the same.
 What marketers should
concentrate is on focusing all
the methods that they can
utilize in achieving their goals.
