Planning is a process of creating and modifying plans to achieve goals such as developing sports performance, personality, and continued high performance. Effective planning involves dividing training into off-season, mid-season, and speed parts. Planning helps in a systematic way by establishing long-term training conceptions from 10-12 years divided into basic, advanced, and high performance stages and periodic planning from the macro cycle of yearly plans to the micro cycle of weekly plans. Planning must be based on talent, science, experience and aim to progressively improve education and performance.
