7. The Real Thing
Most people who don’t believe in God and the
Bible don’t know why they don’t believe.
Many people who do believe don’t know why
they believe.
Christian evidences are a rational appeal to
prove the Christian religion.
It does not seek to prove everything that people
say about Christianity; but it is a study of the
existence of God, the Bible as the revelation of
God and the person of Jesus Christ.
8. Faith Is Not Blind
It is the honest considering of evidence in
which reason finds that evidence
sufficiently convincing.
Christianity is distinctive from all other
religions.
It is historical as it is founded upon actual
times and events.
It is loyal to the person of Jesus Christ as
Deity and based upon His word alone.

11. Purpose in Life
I Corinthians 15:19,32
19 If we have only hoped in Christ in this life, we are
of all men most pitiable.
32 If after the manner of men I fought with beasts at
Ephesus, what doth it profit me? If the dead are not
raised, let us eat and drink, for to-morrow we die.
13. Cause and Effect
Romans 1.20
“20 For the invisible things of him since the
creation of the world are clearly seen, being
perceived through the things that are made,
even his everlasting power and divinity; that
they may be without excuse…”
16. Nature - Psalm 19:1-6
The Revelation of God In Creation
“1 The heavens are telling the glory of God; and the
firmament proclaims his handiwork. 2 Day to day
pours forth speech, and night to night declares
knowledge. 3 There is no speech, nor are there words;
their voice is not heard; 4 yet their voice goes out
throughout all the earth, and their words are to the end
of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, 5
which comes forth like a bridegroom leaving his
chamber, and like a strong man runs its course with
joy. 6 Its rising is from the end of the heavens, and its
circuit to the end of them; and there is nothing hid
from its heat.”
17. Human Body - Psalm 139:14
The God Of Creation
“I praise thee for thou art fearful and
wonderfully made.”
“Wonderful are thy works!”
“Thou knowest me right well.”

whatsoever things are honorable, whatsoever
things are just, whatsoever things are pure,
whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things
are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if
there be any praise, think on these things.”

good work.”
26. II Peter 1:20-21

29. Ephesians 3:3-5

made known unto the sons of men, as it
hath now been revealed unto his holy
apostles and prophets in the Spirit;”
30. Jude 3

diligence to write unto you of our
common salvation, I was constrained
to write unto you exhorting you to
contend earnestly for the faith which
was once for all delivered unto the
saints.”
31. I Peter 1:22-25
“22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in
your obedience to the truth unto unfeigned
love of the brethren, love one another from
the heart fervently: 23 having been begotten
again, not of corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible, through the word of God,
which liveth and abideth.”
32. I Peter 1:22-25
“24 For, All flesh is as grass, And all
the glory thereof as the flower of grass.
The grass withereth, and the flower
falleth: 25 But the word of the Lord
abideth for ever. And this is the word
of good tidings which was preached

so say I now again, if any man preacheth
unto you any gospel other than that which
ye received, let him be anathema.”

45. IV. Conclusion
Jesus confirms the
Scriptures.
– Matthew 19:4-5
– John 5:46-47
– Matthew 22:42-45
– Luke 11:31
– Luke 24:44-45
Conclusive Evidence
– Acts 17:30-31
46. Jesus confirms the Scriptures.
Matthew 19:4-5 4And he answered and said,
Have ye not read, that he who
made them from the
beginning made them male
and female, 5and said, For this
cause shall a man leave his
father and mother, and shall
cleave to his wife; and the two
shall become one flesh?
47. Jesus confirms the Scriptures.
John 5:46-47 46For if ye believed
Moses, ye would
believe me; for he
wrote of me. 47But if
ye believe not his
writings, how shall
ye believe my
words?
48. Jesus confirms the Scriptures.
Matthew 22:42-45 42saying, What think ye of the
Christ? whose son is he?
They say unto him, The son
of David. 43He saith unto
them, How then doth David in
the Spirit call him Lord,
saying, 44The Lord said unto
my Lord, Sit thou on my right
hand, Till I put thine enemies
underneath thy feet? 45If
David then calleth him Lord,
how is he his son?
49. Jesus confirms the Scriptures.
Luke 11:31
31The queen of the south
shall rise up in the
judgment with the men of
this generation, and shall
condemn them: for she
came from the ends of the
earth to hear the wisdom
of Solomon; and behold, a
greater than Solomon is
here.
50. Jesus confirms the Scriptures.
Luke 24:44-45 44And he said unto them,
These are my words which I
spake unto you, while I was
yet with you, that all things
must needs be fulfilled,
which are written in the law
of Moses, and the prophets,
and the psalms, concerning
me. 45Then opened he their
mind, that they might
understand the scriptures;
51. Conclusive Evidence
Acts 17:30 30The times of ignorance
therefore God overlooked; but
now he commandeth men that
they should all everywhere
repent: 31inasmuch as he hath
appointed a day in which he will
judge the world in righteousness
by the man whom he hath
ordained; whereof he hath given
assurance unto all men, in that
he hath raised him from the
dead.
52. The conclusive evidence which proves Jesus to
be the Son of God also verifies the Bible to be
the word of God. Thus, the Bible reveals the God
of all creation; therefore, God exists.
At the appointed time, every person will be
judged through Jesus Christ.
