What you can do to reduce
your carbon footprint
In our Comenius Project
2012-2014 we worked with
the following schools:

Locri, Calabria, Italy

• to lower the power of the
heating system in warm weather
and during the holidays.
‘We have not
inherited the Earth
from our Ancestors;
we have borrowed it
from our Children”
Reducing our school’s
global footprint
• To lower the use of
electricity we will ask our students
to turn off the computers and to
switch off the lights.
• To save paper we will use
computer based tasks in class and
will use photocopies occasionally.
• We will use recycled paper.
• We will take part in the
national campaign “ Let`s clean
Bulgaria in one day”
• We will adopt a bee family.
• Our students will use.
• We will establish garbage
collectors for separate collection
of paper and plastic bags and
bottles in classrooms at school.
