How do your strengths enhance your life?
The communication aspect has helped me get where
I am today by getting to know people. Building my
connections through communication has gotten
me a division 1 scholarship at the university of
Minnesota.
Competition has enhanced my life by making me
strive for better. It has helped me create a mind set
of never being satisfied.
Through rough times I have been apart of in my
life I have learned to overcome them in order to
still become successful. This is where adaptability
has enhanced my life greatly.

How you see yourself using strengths going
forward?
I plan on using my strengths to become successful
not only in my career but with life in general. I
will use these strengths to build connections with
individuals to enhance my future career.

I was always been taught to surround myself with
people that were going somewhere in life. Not
necessarily people that were going to be rich or
have a lot of money but people that know where
they want to go and people that know who they
want to be. At the University of Minnesota I am
surrounded by many successful individuals that
influence my success as well. These individuals
force me to strive for more. What makes the group
of people I choose to hangout with a great
influence is our competitive nature.

13. Learning to be a leaderI will use what I have learned in this class to reach
my personal leadership goals by understanding
the difference between two types of leaders. There
are leaders that motivate through fear and there
are those that motivate through leading by
example. From this course I have learned that
although some people can motivate by fear, there
are downfalls from being this type of leader such
as: employee dissatisfaction, lazy staff members.
I've learned that leading by example and
motivating with a kind heart will have employers
working more efficient because they want to and
