The Eudists and Sulpicians, however, did have a complete Mass and Office composed by Saint Jean Eudes in 1652 for the Feast of the Priesthood of Our Lord Jesus Christ, kept on 13 November 1653 for the first time in the seminary of Coutances. The Eudists abandoned the Feast of the Priesthood toward the middle of the 19th century. The Priests of Saint-Sulpice kept it until the liturgical reforms of Pope Pius X.

What two major effects did the preaching of the Gospel have? (1-7) Why does preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ and His resurrection offend many people, and engender persecution? Should opposition or persecution discourage us from fulfilling the great commission, “to make disciples”? What encouraged Paul to pray for the crippled man? (9) Why aren’t miracles such as the healing of the crippled man characteristic in today’s churches? What was the outcome of the crippled man’s healing? (11-18) Why was Paul stoned at Lystra? (19) How did Paul survive the stoning? (19-20) What does the stoning of Paul (19) remind you of? Did the persecution dampen Paul's zeal for preaching the gospel? (21-28) Why do you think this was so? Describe the Pauline strategy of evangelization and establishing local churches. Compare what you observe of Paul’s strategy with what characterizes most modern missions. Why do you think most mission boards and agencies do not follow the model found in Acts?

My friend, you don’t need to keep waiting until the Lord tells you what your call is. He already stated it in the scriptures. He charged us to do the very same things that he was doing. He was not going to ask us to do something that we were not able to do. He put it in our spirit everything that we could ever need to do what he commanded us to do.
Philippians 3:4-11. To gain Christ we must learn to look at all the things of this world that we trust in clearly and see that they are of no value compared to gaining Christ. Where is your confidence? If it’s in things or accomplishments, the end is destruction. If it’s in a relationship with Jesus, the end is the glorification of your body.

After Jesus’ ascension the company who gathered in the upper room consisted of both men and women, and Peter calls all of them brethren. It seems that current missionary work requires spending a lot of money, preparing a lot of materials, and traveling to far away places, so that it feels like missionary work. But what was the result they brought back? It's just a lot of photos of activities, fun eating, drinking and some playing games. And then we have to do the same thing next year, never ending. The church once mentioned that a certain missionary would go to the field where she used to work before the end of his life. It seemed that if she had not gone, no one would be willing to go. The reason why these missionary work is so difficult is that no one obeys God’s words, and the Bible is not the main content during missionary work, because in the eyes of those who do not obey God’s words, the Bible is just words and cannot be connected with life, so Reading out God's words is boring because it doesn't have any life experience, so it cannot be connected with human life. I will give a few examples in the hope that this situation can be changed. A375
