5. Launching an application
An Application Software is a computer program
It is used to perform tasks such as writing letters, preparing official documents,
drawing and designing, sending and receiving information on the internet, printing,
calculating figures and publishing.
Examples of application software's : Microsoft word, CorelDraw, WordPad, Paint,
Microsoft PowerPoint, calculator, Mozilla Firefox, VLC media player, etc.
Shortcuts of Application programmes are normally placed on the Windows Start
menu and The desktop Screen

6. How to Launch an Application programme
Click the start button on the windows taskbar
Type in the search tab the name of the application
Move the mouse pointer over the displayed program
Then click on the program
The Start Menu

7. How to Launch an Application programme
The Desktop Screen
Locate the application icon on your desktop screen
Move mouse pointer over the icon
Double click on the icon
