My favorite animal is a hamster. I have 2 pets named Remo and Abelino. Hamsters are small rodents native to parts of the Middle East and Europe that are commonly kept as pets due to their easy breeding in captivity. They have expandable cheek pouches and come in different species ranging in size from 30-40g Russians to 100-180g Golden Hamsters.

I like them because they are fun and small.
Hamsters are small rodents of the superfamily of murine. There
areabout 18 different species in seven genera. Most are
native to the Middle East and southeastern Europe. As it is
very easy to breedin captivity, are widely used as pets and
laboratory
animals. Allspecies are characterized by the expandable bags, called
Pocket,located inside of the mouth, ranging from the cheeks to
shoulders.

Sexual maturity: 2 months.
Log in estrus stage: After two months, every 4 days.
Gestation time: 18-21 days. Russians Golden Hamster 15-17days.
Offspring per litter, average 7-8. Are no known cases of 19 young.
Weaning age: 3-4 weeks
