Lapp, ISCB Software Sharing Symposium

Hilmar Lapp is a biologist and lead developer of Bioperl and BioSQL who works at the Open Bioinformatics Foundation and NESCent. The Open Bioinformatics Foundation is a nonprofit founded in 2001 to provide infrastructure support to open source bioinformatics projects like Bioperl and to run the BOSC conference. It maintains mailing lists, version control servers, and other resources to further open source bioinformatics software development.
