OneGlobal Inc. held its annual meeting with morning and afternoon sessions. The morning session included an introduction and year in review presentation on best sellers and solid backlist titles. The afternoon session discussed competitive analysis of core language products, new electronic ancillaries, acquisition candidates, and new titles under contract. Several language programs and systems were identified for revision, including updated content and contemporary elements for Spanish, Arabic, German, and computer access systems. A product analysis of core languages like English and Spanish was presented along with competition reviews. New on-line and CD-ROM titles in French, Vietnamese, Hindi and Punjabi were announced. Data showed the global populations of major language speakers.
