By writing a reaction paper on the views of three researchers on language acquisition, the author realized students must be aware of the processes affecting it. The author agrees with Larsen-Freeman that children learn language faster than any other subject, as children are like sponges that absorb everything they hear and see. An important lesson was that future teachers must consider students' needs, paying attention to their abilities and environments. As teachers, the author wants to address students' doubts and questions, and understand their experiences, in order to best support their language acquisition.
