7. This is another customer’s backyard in
Marietta area. The hill did not have
anything but rocks and very hard
ground. Mr. Dietmar Bogk and his wife
wanted to transform the backyard into
what you are about to see bellow. All
the hardscape as well as the landscape
were installed by American
Landscaping Services.

8. We followed the design and built the
backyard as described by the
customer. Our designer lead the
project all the way from the beginning
to the end. The Allan Block retaining
walls were added to give the backyard
more room for the flagstone path and
flat areas.

9. The water feature has 4 ponds and 3
water falls. The water feature is
approx. 50 feet long. The small bridges
were added to allow access over the
water stream.

10. The Flagstone steps allowed access to
the basement area and flagstone patio
was added as well. Two more Allan
Block retaining walls were added on
the right side of the house to control
erosion because the hill was too close
to the house.

11. We used a big concrete footer and
built the retaining wall on top to make
sure it would sustain the presure and
is been 3 years ever since, and
everything is in perfect working
condition.

13. We used solid concrete structure for
the steps with rebar to prevent cracks.
All the drain pipes were added inside
the retaining walls for drainage. All
down spouts pipes were also buried
under the retaining walls with solid 4-
inch PVC pipes away from the house.

14. I must say that this project turned out
beautifully. Mr. Dietmar has been our
customer for more than 3 years. We
provide lawn maintenance services to
him.

15. The Flagstone Steps land on a
beautiful Flagstone Patio and a
Flagstone retaining wall.

16. This project involves a backyard with
erosion problems. The customer had
in mind installing two terrace treated
timber retaining walls. It was decided
that only one strong retaining wall was
needed of 180 feet long by 6 feet high
installed with rebar, dead men, 57
stone gravel, perforated socked pipe,
compacted dirt and added a catch
basin for more drainage.

Project: Landscape a Back Yard
Classic bait and switch contractor. Hired them
for two jobs, they raised the price 50% on the
first job. The second job I got into it with them
as they tried to raise the price again because
they can’t quote a job correctly. Have yet to hear
back from Allen or Ruben (the owner) after
multiple calls and text. They left my backyard a
mess. Having to find another contractor to finish
the job. Stay Away!

has been impeccable for 20 years.
Contractors need to Stay Away from
you, YES….. You are a taker and want
contractors to do work for you for free.
We issued a contract and you wanted
to change the stone for something
more expensive.

20. . We have been very responsive and
gave you the quotes for everything you
requested. I have proof in my phone
when you asked me to have the
stacked stone done instead of regular
flagstone, we had agreed on the price
and you asked me to do it. We
delivered the stone and you refused to
pay us

21. We had to returned the stone back to
the stone center in Alpharetta from
Atlanta which cost us over $600.00 just
for the delivery fee, gas, labor, and
restacking fees from the stone center,
So don’t play the victim here because
you are far from it.

22. I just talked to Allen, and he told me,
he sent you the last quote for the
more expensive stone quote you
requested, on May 19th at 8:58 am,
confirmed. You never called back to
get the job finished, just didn’t want to
pay the due balance. And by the way,
you are an Angie’s List customer, that
is how you found us, not through
Home Advisor.

Project: Install Concrete Patios, Walks and Steps
American Landscaping Crew did an awesome
job! Our patio was extended and the new
concrete slab matches the existing concrete slab
perfectly. They did a great job keeping the pitch
the same and we have no puddles on any
portion of the concrete. They cleaned up very
nicely after themselves and left behind no
debris. I would highly recommend this company
for any outdoor patio work.
